1) Processing/baking the dough (continuation of the Let's Make Some Bread activity).
2) Discussion of leavening agents (see book page 4)
Can you write out the chemical reaction for baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) with an acid (use HCl) to form carbon dioxide and water?
Review/Discuss Chapter 4 (Yeast Rolls and Loaves) to note the differences between the recipes. Is there a recipe you want to try?
