Welcome to the planning page for the Fall 2017 MACTLAC (Midwest Association of Chemistry Teachers at Liberal Arts Colleges) meeting to be held at Monmouth College on October 13-14 (Fri, Sat), 2017. Hosted by the Chemistry/Biochemistry Department. MACTLAC started at Monmouth College in 1952; see picture below and the C&EN announcement here.

General Info: This general meeting is held each fall at a liberal arts college in the midwest. MACTLAC operates in 3 "regions" (East - MN, IA, and MO, West - MI and IN, and Central - WI and IL) and the meeting rotates around the regions. There are state representatives as well as an executive committee. In the past years there have been ~100 attendees at this meeting. The "Duties of the Host Institution" can be found here.
