The design of classrooms in CSB has served the institution well since its opening in the fall of 2012. Like with any technology, hardware upgrades are inevitable.
- Q1: Is it time to rethink our classroom AV technology...and plan for the future?
- A: YES!
- Q2: Has your teaching ever been negatively effected by AV technology malfunction?
- Q3: Has your teaching pedagogy had to change due to AV technology malfunction (ex. printing out handouts incase the document cam or PC fails)?
Below is a list of AV technology currently have in place?
- Projection/Displays
- - standard (ceiling) projectors
- - short-throw projectors
- - LCD TVs
- Computers
- - Instructor station PCs
- - with document cameras
- - with external laptop connectivity

- Q4: What new AV technology should we consider adding or delating?
- Q4a: Do we still need document cameras?
- Q4b: Do we still need dedicated instructor station PCs?
- Q4c: Do the short-throw projects need to be replaced by the standard (ceiling) projectors?
- Q4d: Do the standard (ceiling) projectors need to be replaced by the short-throw projects?
- Q4e: Do we want to add LCD TVs to rooms?
- Q4f: Do we want to remove/replace LCD TVs?
- Q4g: Do we need "classroom cameras" to accommodate ZOOM participants?
- Q4h: Do we have enough computer labs?
- Q4i: Do we still need to have the PCs in designated computer lab?
- Q4j: Are faculty using software that is not installable on a student PC or MAC?
