What if i bought a piece of property within 30 min of both Radford University and VA Tech, ie. in the New River Valley, and developed it into a retreat center. My definition of a retreat center is a place where 4-40 people could gather for 2-8 hours (am or pm) to discuss "business." Longer meetings would require a catered lunch or dinner. This of course could also be used for church gatherings, workshops, private parties, family gatherings, weddings, etc. but the main business would focus on university departments having retreats on this property. As a faculty member, my department is given the option to have a retreat (overnight) every few years to focus our attention on our departmental operations and when done off-campus, we have a much greater ability to focus.

- 2) Does VA tech or Radford U have faculty retreats? maybe a news story of two?
