Activity

1) determine via measurement the volume of plastic box

- note box identity
- confirm volume by partner doing the measurement as well.

2) determine via measurement the density of wooden block

- note block identity
- confirm density by partner doing the measurement as well.

3) Density of a cylinder?

- Volume of cylinder = pi r^2 h
- optional

4) Density of sphere?

- Volume of cylinder = 4/3 pi r^3
- optional

5) determine via measurement the density of the oddly shaped piece of plastic

- confirm density by partner doing the measurement as well (optional)
