Aug 2013: SOfIA (2013) The Effects of Sulfadimethoxine and Malachite Green on the Gregarine Parasite Count of Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches

  • Studied how different dosages of two drugs, sulfadimethoxine and malachite green, affected the level of gregarine parasite infection in Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches
  • Constructed presentation and poster to present findings at the end of the 3-week research period

Aug 2015: SOfIA (2015) The Effects of Gregarine Parasites on the Physiology of Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches

  • Guided freshman SOfIA students on project creation and served as a mentor throughout the project
  • Aided in new students' development of lab, research, and presentation skills
