Ice Water Thermal Imaging

This image shows a beaker full of ice water (appears black with a purple outline), with my hand held above after being submerged in the water for <1 second. In the image, my fingers are no longer detected by the camera, because they have cooled to the point where they no longer give off enough heat to be detected by the camera when compared with the maximum heat given off by the part of my hand that was not submerged.
