- I hope you have a nice weekend. I had a nice weekend and did not do too much school work...I worked on the restaurant brewery. I will be grading your exams this afternoon and i will contact you individually.
Chapter 9: The hydrogen atom
I feel that this chapter is outlined quite well and that you can read and then re-read, then re-read Sections 9.1-9.3. I will post additional notes on Weds to focus the conversation onto Figure 9.1, but these will be supplemental to section 9.1-9.3. Remember that we do not have "class" on Friday or Monday due to the Easter Break...enjoy!
You have been prepared to understand this material...there is a Hamiltonian...this now includes an "coulombic potential." The solution to this Schrodinger Equation would be horrendous if it were not for the fact that we have already solved some of this, ie. the 3D rotation part...more later...READ.
