Proposed Project Description (PPD)
This is a continuation of a project that began this past summer. I will continue to improve the build for my Brewster Angle Microscope and plan to finish the LabVIEW vi software for automated camera acquisition/image processing. This Brewster Angle Microscope will be used for qualitative analysis of Langmuir monolayer films composed of DPPC, cholesterol, and DPPC/cholesterol mixtures. If time permits, different model systems will be investigated.
Instruments to be used
LEGO Brewster Angle Microscope Kibron Microtrough Prusa i3 3D printer Retina Engrave laser printer (if needed)
References (2 minimum)
A Lego Brewster Angle Microscope for Quantitative Monolayer Film Analysis

Research pledge
I, Brandon Allen, have read the Chem/Bioc 430 course syllabus and understand the general structure and expectations of the research program. The above material was prepared after consultation, and in conjunction with my research advisor.
