One of the interesting information from “Absolute Zero” movie is James Joule. James Joule was an English physicists who observed the relationship between heat and mechanical energy. He collaborated with Lord Kelvin on the exchange rate of movement and heat which then was called energy. The units of energy is named after him, Joules. James Joule was interested in the cannon experiments by Count Rumford. Joule's laid the foundation for the theory of conservation of energy, which later was called the First Law of Thermodynamics.
