Differential Scanning Calorimetry

Differential scanning calorimetry or DSC is a technique that measure the transfer of heat to or from a sample of interest. This DSC technique is a highly accurate, automated version of a melting point apparatus (aka Mel-Temp) commonly used in organic chemistry.
