Sketchup Pro VR

Process of generating a VR experience using:

1) Sketchup Pro ($55/year academic; free 30-day trial; Aug 2019)

- the free version works for the "sketching/design," but the Pro version is required to install the extension needed to convert to VR experience.

- free version is web-based

- Pro version is PC/MAC standalone application

2) SENTIO VR extension for Sketchup Pro (free)

3) VR system with SENTIO VR app (free to view, but requires $49/month development license)

- Oculus GO <-- works great!

- Oculus RIft, Vibe, others should work but have not explored.

*center - sketchup design of a building (can be learned in a few hours by watching a number of YouTube videos)

*right - the "scenes" window; you need to create a scene that will be exported (this is as easy as one-click)

*left - the vertical tool panel for the SENTIO VR extension (once loaded into the Sketchup Pro); the second icon down allows you to upload a scene to the SENTIO VR app.
