- Sweet Bread Recipe
-Preheat oven to 450 Degrees
-Get a one-quarter of a stick of butter and melt it until liquefied
-Take out your dough and knead into a loose ball. It should NOT be overly stiff.
-Then, make a small pocket in the dough and pour in a little bit of the melted butter. Knead the dough until the butter is fully incorporated. The dough should be shiny as well. Continue this process until all the butter is used up. Let the dough rest, if need be (10-15 min)
-Let the dough rest for 10-15 min so the dough is stretchy again
-Make a small pocket in the dough and add a wide variety of warm spices (cinnamon, all-spice, nutmeg, etc). Add to taste or desired flavor profile.
-Knead the spices into the dough until fully incorporated into the dough
-(optional) If you want to create a unique shape, let the dough rest first (10-15 min.). This way, the dough is more likely to stretch and not snap back
-Put the mound of dough on a greased baking sheet or in a greased loaf pan and put in the preheated oven
-Watch the bread until the crust begins to brown. When the top of the bread begins to look crusty, take it out and stick a dowel rod inside the loaf. If the rod comes our clean, then the bread is done. If not, stick the bread back in and watch it closely, checking every 5-10 minutes
-Take out the loaf and let it cool. Serve.
