This is a space to keep information related to the Monmouth College VR hardware/software

Introduction

Classroom Instruction

0) boot up the computer and log on using the PIN 1853; do not connect any VR hardware until step 4.
1) It is important to make sure all WINDOW 10 software is up-to-date; in the search box type, update, select Check for updates, then click the Check for updates button...and restart as necessary.
2) Launch the Oculus software, navigate to Settings (bottom of left sidebar), and verify that you are logged into the MonmouthVR (username) account...if not see your instructor.
3) In the left sidebar (same place as Settings" select Library; you will see in the menu bar --> Apps Update Wishlist...update the Oculus software if requested and update apps as needed.
4) Now connect the VR headset (2 plugs: display port and USB3) to ports on the left side of the laptop; return to the Oculus software and from the left sidebar select Devices...Rift S and Touch both controllers shold have a green light. If not see your instructor.
5) you are now ready to enter the VR...have fun.
