General Chemistry (Chem -140) Final Exam Spring 2020.
This exam is scheduled for Weds, May 13th at 8 am. The exam will be delivered thru WebAssign. The exam will be very similar to the 2 previous WA exams. You will be given ample time to work the exam.
Credit/No Credit vs Letter Grade
As i hope you are aware, the College has allowed you the option to be assigned a letter grade (as usual) or to be assigned "credit/no credit". Based on your recently sent "grades-so-far" report, if you wish to choose this option, you MUST go to MyMC and select this option for each of your courses...please see below before doing so.
No Final Options
Recently i sent you an email with your "grades-so-far." I am offering the following "no final" options...read carefully
Option 1
If a passing letter grade (C- or better) is predicted with a 50% on the final exam, then you are currently passing. If you wish to not take the final exam and choose the credit/no credit option, you will be assigned "credit" for this course.
Option 2
Depending on your exam average, you may choose to not take the final exam and accept the final letter grade predicted by the final exam % shown in the table below:
Exam Average | Predicted Final Exam |
87-100% | 90% predicted grade |
70-86% | 80% predicted grade |
69% or below | 70% predicted grade |
