In an effort to provide students with hands-on activities, the Chemistry Department has acquired a variety of wood working equipment.

Safety

1) All users must be trained on the use of each piece of equipment; please see Brad or Steve for training.

2) As in all chemistry labs, safety glasses must be worn at all times. Face shields, ear plugs, and dusk masks are available.

3) Do not work alone in the shop.

4) Unlock to lab door prior to use to allow quick access if necessary.

5) Do not ware baggie clothes that may interfere with the cutting process.
