Compressor lab

Our society uses "compressors" to do many things. The most simple compressor is a hand bike tire pump. The up and down motion of the hand pump can be replaced with a motor that plugs into either the wall or a 12V outlet. Although a hand pump are very useful for pumping up a tire, it is too much "work" for most situations that need a compressor.

Generate High Pressure Gases

Compressors are used to compress a gas from low to high pressure and then this high pressure gas; this "high pressure" gas is used for many purposes:

- to inflate car/bike tires,

- to spray paint,

- as a means of storing/packaging gases in "high pressure cylinders" for specialized uses,

Refrigerant Gases

Compressor are used to compress "refrigerant" gases that are used for many cooling/heating purposes:

- hoome refrigerators

- heating and cooling in a house or commercial building,

- cooling in your car or truck

Get bike pumps and/or Schrader/Presta valves
