This is a space to keep information related to the Monmouth College VR hardware/software
Introduction
User Info
Classroom Instruction
- 0) boot up the computer and log on using the PIN 1853; do not connect any VR hardware until step 4.
- 1) It is important to make sure all WINDOW 10 software is up-to-date; in the search box type, update, select Check for updates, then click the Check for updates button...and restart as necessary.
- 2) Launch the Oculus software, navigate to Settings (bottom of left sidebar), and verify that you are logged into the MonmouthVR (username) account...if not see your instructor.
- 3) In the left sidebar (same place as Settings" select Library; you will see in the menu bar --> Apps Update Wishlist...update the Oculus software if requested and update apps as needed.
- 4) Now connect the VR headset (2 plugs: display port and USB3) to ports on the left side of the laptop; return to the Oculus software and from the left sidebar select Devices...Rift S and Touch both controllers shold have a green light. If not see your instructor.
- 5) you are now ready to enter the VR...have fun.
