Revision as of 15:48, 29 March 2020
Exam 2 will be available on WebAssign at 8 am - 5 pm on Friday, April 3rd, 2020.
- You will be given 60 mins to complete the WebAssignment/Exam...once you click on the assignment.
Academic honesty reminder: Questions shall not be discussed between students during or after the exam period. If this is not a clear statement, then i will say, any discussion related to the Exam material is considered academic dishonesty.
Exam 2 will cover chapter 4 and 5.
Notes:
- 1) As you may recall, we did not use webassign during chapter 4 since this material required writing out chemical equations and i am not a fan of the formatting required when using the ChemPad. I do think the ChemPad is very good way of entering chemical equations into WA, but i did not choose to "train" you on this product. THEREFORE, i will not ask you to use ChemPad during the WA exam 2.
- 2) To clarify any questions about the exam being timed, i will again reiterate that you can take the exam at any time on Friday, April 3rd; once you click on the "assignment/exam" a timer will begin. You will have 60 min to complete the questions. The exam will become unavailable at 5 pm, so start before 4 pm!!!
- 3) One of the aspects you like about WA is the ability to have multiple attempts at a question. During the exam you will be given 2 submissions only.
- 4) Unlike most WA, during the exam you will be given one problem at a time, not the entire assignment.
- 5) You will now your score once you complete the exam.
I hope to prepare a timed assignment (not for credit) so that you can see how the exam is going to look.
