The physics machine shop is located in CSB 10X.
Safety
- Never work alone in the shop.
- Any violations of the access or safety rules will result in being "banned" from the shop.
Access
- Access to the facility is limited; pls contact Professor Fasano.
- Guest are allowed in the shop, but they are not to be using equipment.
Training
All users must undergo training on the different pieces of equipment.
USER Level
- USER:Training level 1 (LIMITED access)
- Access allowed to the shop to use/borrow hand tools.
- USER:Training Level 2 (LIMITED access)
- Access allowed to the shop to use/borrow hand tools.
- Has been trained on using portable tools (see list below)
- USER:Training Level 3 (INTERMEDIATE access)
- Access allowed to the shop to use/borrow hand tools.
- Has been trained on using portable tools (see list below)
- Has been trained on using selected stationary tools
- USER:Training Level 4 (FULL access)
- Access allowed to the shop to use/borrow hand tools.
- Has been trained on using portable tools (see list below)
- Has been trained on using selected stationary tools (see list below)
- Has been trained on all equipment.
