I took a picture of my buddy Khader before and after running up and down the stairs twice with the IR camera. We expected to see a large amount of blood flow to his neck, but when we looked at the thermal images we found that it all went to his head!

We also attempted taking pictures of some bacteria being stored in the cold room and found that the petri dish showed no thermal activity. This makes sense since the purpose of storing them there is that they will be preserved in a nonactive state until we take them back out into a warmer environment.

A cold petri dish with e. coli and its overlapped thermal image. A thermal thumbprint can be seen from where it was being held before the picture was taken.
