Procedure

Freeze green coffee beans with liquid nitrogen to minimize degradation of the chlorogenic acid.

Crush 100 bean lots in a ball mill for 15 mins.

Add 1g of green coffee bean powder to 250ml erlenmeyer with 100ml methanol/water 70/30 mixture with .5% Na2SO3.

Shake the flask over night at 4°C and 125 rpm

Filter through cotton
