Hardware Requirements

The installation of the Molecular Rift (MR) requires a functioning Oculus Rift system (~$500 - "touch" not required)) and Leap Motion sensor (~$100). The Oculus Rift requires a significant graphics card; we are currently using a Gforce GPX 1060 - 6GB (~$400). Our PC is an i5 Intel dual core processor.

MR V2

The following describes the install of version 2: 1) Search Molecular Rift V2 github...or go directly to: https://github.com/JBostrom/MolecularRiftv2

2) Select the "Download" (green) button to download all of the needed files.

3) Copy to "C:drive"...this will allow the install to go faster

4) Then "extract" the .zip file...

5) Once extracted, you will find multiple files and folders.
