Intro
The laser cutter emits a bright white light while cutting, this emission spectra was taken in search of a reason for the white light. The data was collected while vector cutting a circle in to a piece of wood, while the photo-diode array detector was placed in the cutting area while the laser was active to get a better angle to catch the laser in the tube as it was being sent to the cutting head.
