Operating Instructions: Solid Samples 1) Open OMNIC software 2) Clean the instrument with ethanol and a KimWipe 3) Collect background data with laser screwed down (Col Bkg) 4) Place sample and screw down the laser 5) Col Sample (Col Sam) 6) Delete background data by clicking on the background spectrum and hitting the "Clear" Button 7) Save sample as a .csv file onto a flash drive; our instrument doesn't have internet
