 Lignans for Life Hydroxymatairesinol (HMR) Lignan was obtained from Amazon.com (Seattle, WA, USA), and pH 5 Phosphate-Citrate Buffer, 1,4-Dioxane, and KMnO<sub>4</sub> and were obtained from Sigma Aldrich (St. Louis, MO, USA).
