===Proposal===
Looking at binding patterns of amyloid beta (AB) into anionic membranes. With varying the anionic conditions of synthetic membranes, based on the relative concentrations of DPPC and DPPS, the insertion rate into the lipids tail groups and the binding pattern on the head groups will be studied. It is expected to see that binding and insertion patterns be more significant with an increasing anionic concentration. Previous research here has looked at domain characterization of DPPC/DPPS/cholesterol, as well as the binding characteristics of AB in DPPC model membranes. This research aims to establish a stable platform for further researchers, establishing a relationship between membrane charge and AB binding/insertion interactions.
